KIPOS Botanicals® was born from a lifelong love of herbs and the nurturing power of the garden. Founder Konstantina Zaras, an herbalist with Greek roots, has spent decades studying, growing, and crafting with plants — from her first herb garden and years of employment at Arlington’s legendary DeBaggio Herb Farm to creating soothing botanical blends at home.
The name Kipos (Greek for “garden” pronounced keepos) reflects her heritage and appreciation for a family history steeped in herbalism. Each small-batch product is inspired by centuries of herbal tradition and formulated to comfort our skin by harnessing the gentle, yet powerful plant-based ingredients.
KIPOS Botanicals® began with a single act of care — a calendula salve handcrafted for a friend undergoing radiation therapy. Its remarkable results, supported by medical professionals, became the seed for something greater: a mission to share the nurturing power of the garden with others.

Unless otherwise noted, our ingredients are either grown in our garden or purchased from herbal apothecaries in the US that provide the highest quality, ethically and sustainably sourced organic botanicals.
